A Vortexx of Halloween Reflections in the Key of B !!!

Las Vegas Halloween horror host show

Sicko-Psychotic's Halloween Music Marathon: Side B aired on The Vortexx streaming channel on November 6, 2021 right after a re-showing of Side A. It was great to hang out with old friends once again on the website's chatroom during the showing.

Doing a four-hour special such as this was incredibly challenging, but all of the musicians who participated and allowed me to include their music videos in the program made it all worth while: Angels and Devils; Apology None; Cliff and Ivy; The Cutthroat Brothers; Dali's Llama; The Dev; First Boy on the Moon; Marquis of Vaudeville; Michael Raco-Rands & J. Gust Anderson; Mike Diva; The Mobile Hot Spots; Phyllis Johnson; The Rhythm Coffin; Sheiks of Neptune; The Slow Poisoner; Undadogz; ZombieSuckers; and my horror hosts colleagues Arachna of the Spider People (Alexis Hmielak "I Put a Spell on You"); Crematia Mortem (Roberta Solomon "The Mortem Rap"); Dr. Sarcofiguy (John Dimes "Nosferatu"); and Penny Dreadful (Danielle Gelehrter "Monster Mash").

The entire cast of Sicko-Psychotic's Super Shock Show even paid tribute to Bizarre TV and it's creator, Rhonda Baffes, by performing a musical parody called "Bizarre". It was the first station to pick up the Sicko-Psychotic Show in its original incarnation and introduce us to the strange and wonderful community of horror hosts. Also, it was through Bizarre TV in which I learned about two other talented hosts from Las Vegas... The Sinister Minister (Sean Smith) and Vincent Grimmly (Darren T. Knaus). (Starring Jim Childs as Sicko-Psychotic the King of Ghouls)

Sicko-Psychotic's Return to the Vortexx !!!

Las Vegas Halloween horror host show

Although Sicko-Psychotic (Jim Childs) has appeared as a guest, done shout-outs on other hosted shows, and popped up on the Captain Isotope program a couple times, it has been a long spell since a Sicko-Psychotic episode aired on The Vortexx streaming channel. Thanks to horror hostess Arachna of the Spider People (Alexis Hmielak from Beware Theater) for arranging it, the Sicko-Psychotic Show made a return to The Vortexx on November 2, 2021, with the 2-part Halloween Music Marathon. The wonderful Arachna herself appeared in the Special promoting Halloween books for children of all ages that could be checked out from public libraries.

The Halloween Special was the first time I had reached out to other fellow horror hosts to appear on the show and I am extremely grateful to each of them for making this such an amazing event. Among the special guests were Bobby Gammonster (Monster Movie Night), Crematia Mortem (Roberta Solomon; Creature Feature), Danvers (John Benjamin Faust; Demented Features), Destroyah, Dr. Dreck (Michael Legge; The Dungeon of Dr. Dreck), Drac and Countess Carita (Robert Kokai & Stefanie Kokai; Transylvania Tonight), The Evil Dr. Toad (Evil Dr. Toad's Science Fiction Theater), Sally the Zombie Cheerleader (Nicole M. King; The Zombie Cheerleader's School of Horror), Scarlett Kaiju and CJ the Werewolf (Colin Reboy; Mansion of Mystery), Slash (Slash's Graveyard Tales), Tim the Enchanter and Stevie Gothling (Scary As Hell Theater), and Vincent Grimmly (Darren T. Knaus; Night Chills Theatre).

Other generous contributors were Captain Isotope and Princess Daphne (Erik J. Nielsen & Cheryl Szymczak; Captain Isotope & the Enemy of Space), Doctor Fearless (a.k.a. David Dastmalchian; The Suicide Squad), Dr. Sarcofiguy (John Dimes; It's Some Kinda Show), Molly the K ("Down the Memory Hole" Weird Sisters Radio), Penny Dreadful XIII (Danielle Gelehrter; Shilling Shockers), and Rob Fleck (Phoenix Comics + Toys).

Halloween Cavalcade of Horror Hosts !!!

Las Vegas Halloween horror host show

Among the terror-ific musicians listed, there were also special musical performances by horror hosts Penny Dreadful XIII (Danielle Gelehrter) doing her phantasmically fun rendition of the MONSTER MASH; Crematia Mortem (Roberta Solomon) and her creepy family serving up a hilarious and frightfully freaky MORTEM RAP; Arachna of the Spider People (Alexis Hmielak) and her old pal, Deadly, performing a Halloween favorite - I PUT A SPELL ON YOU; Dr. Sarcofiguy singing a wonderfully wicked original song called NOSFERATU; and, finally, Sicko-Psychotic (Jim Childs) and the Sick-Shack Shakers (whew! Say that 10 times!) singing and dancing a tribute to the much missed Rhonda Baffes and Bizarre TV in the form of a parody song.

The complete marathon (sides A & B combined) aired on October 26, 2021 and then again on November 1st and 4th on The Monster Channel.

In addition to Sicko-Psychotic's Halloween Music Marathon... other horror hosted Specials were aired: Beware Theater with Arachna of the Spider People, The Dungeon of Dr. Dreck, The Igorro Show, Midnight Massacre Theatre with The Sinister Minister, Midnite Mausoleum with Marlena Midnite, The Midnight Movie with Ritch and Triv, Monster Madhouse with Karlos Borloff, Monster Movie Night with Bobby Gammonster, Morbid Mansion Theater with Mr. Multo, The New Uncle Gregory Horror Hour, The Raven's Rookery, and The Weirdness Really Bad Movie with Dave Binkley and Mike Mace, etc.
